Inland Sea Oats is a graceful, native grass with wide blades and attractive seed heads. The spiked seed heads are flat and hang down from the stem, turning from green to brown. It prefers moist areas but will tolerate poor soil and can be used in re-vegetation projects, however it can reseed itself prolifically. Seed heads are also used in flower arrangements.
