Fast growing climbing vine has a lacey leaf topped with hundreds of white flowers from May until November. The blooms are white with red centers and open from noon until sunset. It is very drought tolerant and will tolerate poor soil with good drainage. It is deciduous and produces an interesting star shaped seedpod throughout the summer. Alamo Vine is perfect for covering arbors and trellises, however it is a vigorous grower so be sure to give it plenty of room. Now known as Merremia dissecta.
